Early life and career journey
I had the opportunity to speak with Sina, a spiritual soul who recently began her sound-healing journey. Before the meeting, I watched some of Sina’s videos, and even through the devices, I could sense that she is a very down-to-earth and peaceful person.
She invited me to her home, which, as she said, is her favourite place to be. A space of safety, inspiration, and deeper inner connection.
Previously based in Germany, she tried different professions. At a young age, her dream was to work in the fashion industry, which eventually came through, and she started working for a large international company, designing handbags.
After visiting a factory in China and seeing the conditions people worked in, and the number of fashion items being produced, the work was no longer fulfilling. She left the company and began searching for new opportunities that aligned better with her values.

Seeking clarity and creativity
In search of clarity, a journey to Bali followed, with the hope of finding a direction for the next step. Being surrounded by nature and a strong spiritual culture allowed her to slow down and listen more closely to intuition.
After returning to Germany, working as a graphic designer became the next chapter. She loved the creativity this role involves, but she didn’t want to be creative for the sake of demand, as she believes creativity comes in waves and should be a natural thing.
Driven by a desire for personal growth, Sina completed a course to become a life coach, supporting people in interpreting and pursuing their life dreams. This was when a decision was made - to take a big step and pursue one of her dreams – van life. A van was purchased, and a new chapter began, focused on travel, remote work, and freedom.

Love and a new home
A friend living in Aljezur was one of the reasons she decided to come to the South of Portugal. After a period of single life, she felt ready to open her heart to someone without consciously seeking anything.
The right moment came when her friend introduced Sina to her current partner. Things evolved quickly, and van life was replaced by a safe place near the Atlantic Ocean.
As she says, “The van life became uncomfortable for me, as the space started to feel too tight. Yes, it was my dream, but I feel like even if we are living our dream and start to feel uncomfortable, it doesn’t mean anything wrong; it just means that the dream was fulfilled, and it’s time to move on.”
This realisation reflects Sina’s deep trust in life’s cycles. She understands that dreams are not meant to trap us, but to guide us.
Now settled in a happy place and a loving relationship, life feels deeply aligned. Living in the Algarve brings a sense of peace, especially during the long walks along the cliffs offering breathtaking views.
She describes herself as an ocean person and cannot imagine living far from the sea.

Embracing spirituality & Sound Healing
Always a spiritual and intuitive person, a move to the Algarve marked a turning point in paying closer attention to the inner world. An interest in crystals and holistic healing techniques gradually led her to the calming sound of crystal bowls.
After experiencing different healing sounds at home, she began researching this topic further. Sound healing and its therapeutic effects became the centre of her interest. Sina attended a sound-healing training in Lisbon, which was transformative and provided her with valuable insights.
After this experience, she decided to pursue a career as a sound healer under the name SONAROSE and currently holds a crystal sound-healing session once a month in Lagoa.
Dreams as a guiding light
A retreat focused on people’s dreams is currently taking shape - dreams have been an important part of her life. She has often heard from others that her dreams are “utopia”, and she explains, “For me, utopia is a reality that has not become manifest in our physical world yet.”
Hearing others dismiss their own dreams deeply affects her. It feels heartbreaking to witness people turn away from what gives meaning to their souls, without recognising the importance of those inner visions.
“It is so dear to my heart because I am a dreamer. A dreamer who carries the gift of bringing a new, brighter reality into the world. Unfortunately, it is a forgotten and rejected task in our world. It is as mystical and ancient as life itself, and there were times when dreamers were honoured and in their rightful place in the worldly scene. I claim this to become part of our reality again.”
At the heart of her work is an encouragement for others to follow their dreams. “Please follow the inner pull, that distant dream.” By spending time on social media, we consume others’ lives, getting a sense of fulfilment without taking the risk. “Your dreams are with you for a reason. They come with a task that only you can fulfil.”
